About the role

As a Mid-Market Account Executive on Anthropic's High Tech team, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with tech-forward mid-market companies, unlocking new value streams throughout their business.

This role sits at the intersection of consultative selling and technical fluency, helping customers empower their workforce, accelerate processes, and build products with Claude. In collaboration with GTM, Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams, you'll continuously refine our value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning to ensure differentiated value across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Run an end-to-end sales cycle, from first outbound to launch
  • Win new business and expand existing accounts
  • Build and execute sales strategies that drive quota attainment. Identify market opportunities, generate pipeline, and drive revenue
  • Become a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their unique needs and crafting tailored AI solutions
  • Leverage your technical aptitude to earn credibility with engineers, product leaders, and executives
  • Shape product roadmaps by gathering customer feedback and translating market needs into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams
  • Contribute to the Mid-Market GTM strategy by sharing learnings, refining playbooks, and identifying process improvements that make the team more effective

Requirements

  • 4+ years of enterprise sales experience driving adoption of emerging technologies with a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach
  • Proven experience exceeding revenue targets in fast-paced organizations by effectively managing an evolving pipeline and sales process
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate dynamic stakeholder ecosystems, building consensus and providing innovative solutions to disparate groups
  • Extensive experience negotiating highly complex, customized commercial agreements with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with C-level executives
  • Experience automating workflows or building automations to handle the repeatable components of a sales process
  • A passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems. You feel strongly about ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely

Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $290,000-$360,000 USD
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
  • Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
  • Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
  • Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
