Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the Actuarial Reserving and Pricing teams by managing and optimizing data processes. This role will focus on handling Personal Auto data, creating reports and dashboards, and delivering insights for senior leadership.
You will process, manipulate, and organize data for Actuarial Reserving and Pricing teams using SAS and SQL. Create and maintain reports and dashboards using SAS, SQL, Excel, and R Shiny. Support special data analysis projects for senior leadership. Identify data issues and collaborate with IT to resolve defects. Improve existing data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide data and insights to all actuarial areas within the organization.
Key requirements include experience in data management and reporting, proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel, programming skills, familiarity with actuarial reserving concepts, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and good communication skills.
