Description

We are seeking a motivated university graduate with analytical skills or someone who has successfully completed their training in the banking sector and is now looking to take the next step in their career. As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in our credit and risk management team, analysing and assessing credit risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and vote on credit decision templates
  • Independently assess creditworthiness based on current financial data and qualitative factors
  • Develop proposals for securing credit exposures and implement measures to limit credit default risks
  • Compile and maintain various reports in the credit area
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties, including regional offices, tax consultants, and credit committees

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in business administration (ideally with a focus on finance, banking, or economics) or a completed apprenticeship as a banker
  • Initial relevant work experience (around 1 year) in the credit sector
  • Familiarity with common legal regulations in the credit business (e.g. MaRisk, KWG, commercial and insolvency law)
  • High level of initiative, structured and independent way of working, and pronounced team ability
  • Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
  • Routine use of MS Office (especially Excel)
