In this role, you will:
Purchase Order Management: Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
Problem Solving: Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track.
Order Tracking: Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.
Data & Process Management: Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, ITAR, FAR/DFAR regulations, and maintain accurate procurement records.
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
2+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
Experience with aerospace/defense industry standards, ITAR compliance, and FAR/DFAR regulations
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
Preferred qualifications include:
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
The salary range for this role is $98,000-$130,000 USD.
