Team Leader

We are seeking a Team Leader to join our Operations team at Magna Park, Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will lead a team of waste operatives to ensure health and safety compliance, team productivity optimisation, and performance, as well as shift reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the waste operative team to ensure health and safety compliance
• Operating machinery such as Forklift, LLOP, Counterbalances, Compactor, and Balers
• Processing and sorting waste materials into appropriate streams
• Capturing and recording data accurately
• Upholding health and safety procedures
• Reporting accidents, near misses, and incidents
• Ensuring correct PPE is worn by all team members
• Promoting a positive safety culture

Requirements:

• Ability to lead an operational team
• High priority and focus on leading Health & Safety within the team
• Punctuality and ability to start shifts on time
• Good communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Flexibility to ensure workload is completed
