Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Projet Maitrise d'Ouvrage to join our Finance Systems Maintenance team at HSBC Continental Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the functional and operational support of our financial systems. Your primary focus will be on providing expert guidance and support to our Finance users, managing system maintenance activities, and ensuring the reliability of our financial data and processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and exploitation of our financial systems, including supervising recurring operations such as monthly, quarterly, and annual productions, and ensuring the resolution and escalation of incidents to technical teams.
- Managing and improving processes, including identifying and proposing improvements and automations to reduce manual tasks, standardizing processes by recommending best practices.
- Participating in finance-related projects linked to systems, including deployments, evolutions, and testing, coordinating user needs, centralizing requests, and prioritizing improvements.
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to the war room during close periods, participating in data quality problem analysis, and reporting project progress.
As a successful candidate, you will have excellent knowledge of financial systems and processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will also have experience in project management, preferably related to system evolution, and be proficient in data tracking and interrogation using tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python.
