Description
At Honda, we're looking for a Brand and Licensing Strategist to lead the development and execution of our Power Sports and Products Brand Strategy. This role will focus on Licensing, Sponsorships, Brand Ambassadors, and Partnerships, and will work closely with our Auto side counterparts and Japan Power Sports and Products teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the yearly strategic prioritization roadmap, tracking tools, and project timelines for Licensing, Sponsorships, Brand Ambassadors, and Partnerships.
- Track and report royalty from associated business relationships in coordination with the finance team.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with each associated business partner.
- Coordinate related strategies with auto counterparts to ensure alignment and maximize collaboration opportunities.
- Work with the Law and IP team on related legal contracts for associated business relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a related field, with a degree or 10-12 years of related work experience.
- Prior experience with licensing requirements and self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and budgets, interact and communicate effectively with other associates, and possess good planning, implementation, and project management skills.
- Strong decision-making ability and presentation skills.
Workstyle and Travel Requirements:
- This is an onsite job with the possibility of one remote workday per week with prior departmental approval.
- Travel requirements may be up to 25% annually, largely domestic with limited international travel to destinations such as Italy, Japan, France, Spain, Canada, Mexico, and others.
