Description

About this role

At tonies, you will join the Supply Chain Operations team as a working student. You will gain deep insights into the supply chain of a rapidly growing global brand and have the opportunity to take on real responsibility from day one.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Operational Support: Assist the Global Supply Planning team in monitoring inventory levels and analysing core supply chain processes for optimisation. Data Management: Help compile and prepare critical datasets that form the basis for accurate demand, supply, and inventory forecasting. Systems & Administration: Maintain and optimise our ERP system and manage general commercial activities within supply planning and operational procurement. Independent Projects: Take ownership of smaller planning tasks, maintain direct communication with international manufacturers, and support global product launches. Reporting & Analytics: Create comprehensive reports, link various datasets, and support the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and process documentation. Cross-functional Collaboration: Support the team in managing interfaces with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

What we are looking for

Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Professional Skills: Initial experience through internships or part-time roles in a corporate environment is preferred. Analytical Mindset: You enjoy organising complex information logically and presenting it clearly. You work with high precision and conscientiousness. IT Proficiency: You are an advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel, and possess a natural curiosity for learning new IT environments and ERP systems. Self-Management: You are a proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new requirements. Communication: Strong communication skills in both English and German are essential.
