Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

The duties of the WRT Accountant will include:

Accounts Payable & Payments

• Prepare, process, and execute supplier payments and ensure timely supplier follow-up
• Manage and reconcile corporate credit card statements

Tax & Compliance

• Perform monthly VAT reconciliations
• Prepare and submit mandatory reports to the National Bank of Belgium (NBB)
• Assist in the preparation of annual accounts, related documentation, and tax returns

Reporting & Closing

• Support monthly financial closing and reporting
• Assist with quarterly reporting activities
• Perform monthly fixed asset reconciliations
• Support the preparation of the annual audit

Internal Support & Collaboration

• Provide first-line accounting support to internal stakeholders
• Assist with the preparation of sales invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365

The WRT accountant should have the following profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
• Strong professional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Excellent analytical skills with a structured and methodical approach
• Hands-on mindset with a flexible “can-do” and “will-do” attitude
• Ability to manage workload effectively and perform under tight deadlines
• Proactive and solution-oriented problem solver
• Strong motivation to achieve objectives and deliver results
