Description
We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team. As a Product Designer at Fuse Energy, you will design best-in-class products and experiences that make energy abundant. This includes designing consumer products, such as mobile and web apps that reward users for controlling their usage, balancing grid demand, and upgrading their home with solar, batteries, and EVs. You will also design physical and digital experiences, including home energy upgrade, hardware products, and home IoT device controls. Additionally, you will define Fuse's visual language across web, mobile, motion, and physical products, and design high-stakes interfaces, such as internal tools and platforms that manage gigawatts of renewable energy, thousands of installations, and millions of customers.
As we scale, you will design grid management systems, blockchain reward mechanisms, and products that don't exist yet. Early design hire means shaping the entire roadmap. You will work directly with our CEO and across engineering, trading, and operations.
Our design team includes designers from Pentagram, Bakken & Bæck, Revolut, and Arrival. The team bridges visual, motion, 3D, product, and web design to create great experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Designing best-in-class products and experiences that make energy abundant
- Designing consumer products, including mobile and web apps that reward users for controlling their usage, balancing grid demand, and upgrading their home with solar, batteries, and EVs
- Designing physical and digital experiences, including home energy upgrade, hardware products, and home IoT device controls
- Defining Fuse's visual language across web, mobile, motion, and physical products
- Designing high-stakes interfaces, such as internal tools and platforms that manage gigawatts of renewable energy, thousands of installations, and millions of customers
Requirements:
- Lots of experience designing consumer-facing digital products
- Strong craft across typography, colour, composition, and UX
- A track record of working end-to-end from initial vision and discovery through to design execution
- You translate complex systems into interfaces that have a logical, modular, and re-usable structure that just makes sense
- Excellent written communication skills
- Figma expert (non-negotiable)
- Bonus: Motion graphics, 3D (C4D, Spline), copywriting, or code
