Description
We are seeking a Facilities Support technician to join our team in Belfast. As a Facilities Support technician, you will support the ABM Site Supervisor in the end-to-end delivery of site improvement projects and minor works. You will define project scopes, programmes, and delivery timelines to ensure works are completed with minimal disruption to client production and business operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Management & Minor Works: Support the ABM Site Supervisor in the end-to-end delivery of site improvement projects and minor works.
- Technical Asset & Maintenance Strategy: Support the response to site facilities production and safety issues, assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of critical asset failures.
- Energy & Systems Management: Monitor and optimise Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Contractor & Health & Safety Management: Manage specialist subcontractors attending site for maintenance, repairs, inspections, and projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Provide regular updates to management and client stakeholders regarding asset condition, project progress, maintenance performance, and costs.
The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND, Degree, recognised trade qualification, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering. You will also have experience maintaining and fault finding on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building services assets.
