AI Data Engineer Intern

Role Summary:

We are seeking an AI Data Engineer Intern to assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for AI/ML models. The successful candidate will support simple data transformations and basic feature preparation, ensuring data quality and consistency across different data sources.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for AI/ML models.
• Support simple data transformations and basic feature preparation.
• Help ensure data quality and consistency across different data sources.
• Collaborate with team members to organise datasets and maintain clear documentation.
• Support basic data pipeline or workflow tasks (e.g., data extraction, loading, validation).
• Contribute to making data more accessible for AI and automation use cases.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Technical Skills: SQL or Python, Power BI (basic reporting/dashboard), data cleaning & transformation, basic CI/CD concepts.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, adaptability.
• Experience: Academic or personal projects involving data processing, reporting, basic automation, API, or simple CI/CD workflows.
• Nice-to-Have: Cloud platforms, DevOps, ethical AI knowledge.
