Engineering Manager

We're seeking an Engineering leader to help scale our growing engineering team. As Engineering Manager, you will partner with Engineering and Product Leadership to deliver and execute on roadmap deliverables. You will support and mentor the dynamic, talented, global, fun team, while emphasizing quality at every stage of the product.

Some of the things we look for:

• At least 5 years of engineering management experience with a total of 8 years or more experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Management of partial- or fully-remote teams distributed across multiple timezones
• Enthusiasm for growing strong and diverse teams, and making good teams great on both the team and individual contributor levels
• A passion for software engineering and interest in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle
• Championing communication & collaboration between the Engineers in the team and cross-pollination with other Engineering Teams as well as other Stakeholders in the company
• Good understanding of SQL databases
• Hands-on experience in the Data Engineering space (ODBC, Python ecosystem, BI tools, Spark)
• Demonstrated experience with good engineering practices and software craftsmanship
• Demonstrable experience in shipping features and hitting deadlines consistently
• Capable of reasoning about code written in various programming languages
• Experience with working on or managing Open Source Software
