Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and mission readiness of Shield AI's V-BAT unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and associated Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Your responsibilities will include conducting organisational-level maintenance on V-BAT unmanned aircraft systems and associated GSE, constructing wiring harnesses and soldering necessary components, complying with written training and certification requirements, supporting the development of maintenance task instructions, and developing relationships with adjacent organisations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in aviation maintenance and operations, including coordination across multiple departments, significant experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proven record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding oneself and others to high standards, and showing kindness to others.
Preferred qualifications include a FAA A&P license or equivalent internal or external certification, experience in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), experience in avionics, and IPC Certification.
This is a full-time regular employee position with a salary range of $26-$35 per hour, plus bonus, benefits, and equity.
