Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer, Roadrunner
Anduril Industries is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Ashville, Ohio. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for our cutting-edge VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) counter-UAS interceptor, Roadrunner.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the manufacturing of Roadrunner from initial prototyping through large full-scale production
- Work with design engineers to drive design for manufacturing best practices into the design effort
- Act as a manufacturing liaison for mechanical fabrication and avionics with subject matter expertise in these areas
- Own documentation required for successfully manufacturing product group hardware at scale
- Advise on quality management and business application programs as they pertain to manufacturing
- Collaborate with internal customers and manufacturing planning teams to define capacity planning actions
- Analyze metrics for continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in a technical field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant field
- Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware
- Attitude of world-class mission assurance, quality, attention to detail, and dedication
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to aircraft programs or other relevant aerospace & defense technologies
- Software scripting experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Salary Range: $99,000-$131,000 USD
