FBS Senior System Architect

Our Client is seeking a Senior System Architect to contribute to the continued evolution and maintenance of the Alta Quoting Platform. As a Senior System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and ensuring the architectural integrity of the Alta platform, focusing on our Angular (frontend) and Java (backend) tech stack.

Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas

• Architectural Design & Oversight: Designing and evolving scalable, resilient, and performant architectural solutions for new and existing Alta functionalities, with a strong emphasis on Angular and Java best practices.
• System Integration & Optimization: Driving the seamless integration of Alta with diverse backend systems, ensuring robust data flow and optimal performance. This includes designing APIs and data structures that support efficient multi-product quoting and complex business logic.
• Technical Leadership & Guidance: Providing architectural leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and high-quality code delivery.
• Performance & Scalability: Identifying and implementing architectural improvements to enhance the platform's performance, scalability, and maintainability, particularly as we expand functionality.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Leading complex technical problem-solving efforts and driving innovation within the platform's architecture.
• Phase 2 Expansion & Run and Maintain: Playing a critical role in defining and implementing the architecture for Phase 2 functionalities, and contributing to the robust 'run and maintain' strategy to ensure the platform's long-term stability and value.
