Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Santa Ana, CA. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembly and integration of mechanical and/or electrical components. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to support a team-oriented approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Following detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to assemble products or systems
- Using various hand tools and power tools to put components together
- Combining different subsystems or components into a larger, functioning system
- Ensuring compatibility and proper communication between integrated components
- Maintaining detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered
- Following safety protocols and procedures in the workplace
Required qualifications include:
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry is preferred)
- Proficient with common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes or specialized test equipment
- Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications)
- Able to read a wiring diagram and follow assembly instructions
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production
Preferred qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience with many aspects of aircraft or ground systems fabrication, repair, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, integration, composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test
- Mechanically assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components involving hand soldering and component fabrication
- Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks
Salary range for this role is $23-$34/hour, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
