Description
We're looking for a Localization Manager to join our team in Canada. As a Localization Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the company's localization strategy and ensuring that our products and services are tailored to meet the needs of users in Canada.
Our team is responsible for launching new features and products globally, and we need someone with a strong understanding of language and culture to help us navigate the complexities of localization. You will work closely with our product teams to develop and implement localization strategies that meet the needs of our users in Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Working with our product teams to develop and implement localization strategies that meet the needs of our users in Canada
- Identifying and understanding the needs of our users in Canada and developing strategies to meet those needs
- Collaborating with our translation and quality assurance teams to ensure that our products and services are translated accurately and meet the required quality standards
- Developing and maintaining standards and guidelines for language and culture
- Collaborating with our marketing teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that meet the needs of our users in Canada
- Working with our operations teams to ensure that our products and services are delivered to our users in Canada in a timely and efficient manner
We're looking for someone with:
- More than 8 years of experience in product localization with a proven track record of developing and implementing localization strategies in international launches
- Strong understanding of language and culture and ability to navigate the complexities of localization
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with translation and quality assurance teams
- Experience working with marketing and operations teams
