Description
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Field Engineering team. As a Solutions Architect, you will work with Account Executives to define and direct the technical strategy for our largest and most important retail accounts. Your goal will be to help these accounts become more data-driven and adopt our products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership. You will need to be technical and understand the relevance and application of machine learning and artificial intelligence within various use cases important to our target retail accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing account technical strategies in partnership with Account Executives Building technical champions within the account to influence key technical decisions Influencing stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications Being a champion for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform Contributing to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups
If you have 8+ years of customer-facing technical experience working in large enterprise customers, preferably in a pre-sales capacity, and possess deep technical expertise in key areas such as big data, data science, data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud technologies, we encourage you to apply.
You will also need to have hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms, experience in a core programming language (such as Python, Java, or Scala), and the ability to architect complex technical solutions for specialized customer needs.

Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $180,000 - $247,500 USD per year, depending on location and experience.
