Description
We're seeking a Design Engineer, AI Capability Development (Education Labs) to join our team. As a key member of our AI Research & Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing AI-powered products that help users develop real skill with AI. Your work will focus on creating end-to-end prototypes that test new interaction paradigms, defining technical direction for the team, and building relationships across Product, Design, and Research to influence how skill development principles shape Anthropic's broader product strategy.

As a successful candidate, you will have strong full-stack engineering skills, a design sensibility, and experience building and shipping web products. You will also have a deep conviction about human capability and a strong perspective on how technology should enhance human capabilities rather than diminish them.
We offer a competitive salary range of $300,000-$405,000 USD per year, depending on experience. We also offer a minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience, and a required field of study in a relevant field.
