Description
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will execute tests and experiments to evaluate process performance and identify improvement opportunities. You will also support NPI activities from the ground up, including assembly line setup, process definition, and production procedure development. Additionally, you will troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to maintain operational stability. You will partner closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to align on priorities and execute improvements effectively. You will create and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and equipment or tooling requirements. You will proactively observe production operations and engage with operators and stakeholders to surface and implement process enhancements. You will train on-site staff on new equipment, procedures, and updated production processes. You will utilise the MES system to extract, analyse, and present key production metrics, including yield, throughput, and cycle time. You will apply basic Python scripting to support data analysis and process monitoring tasks.
Essential skills and experience include 1 to 2 years of experience in a production or process engineering role, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Manufacturing engineering, fluency in English and Chinese, and the ability to work on-site at the facility in Taoyuan. Familiarity with Python scripting, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and CAD skills (Fusion360/Inventor/Solidworks) are also desirable.
