Joining Razer will place you on a global mission to revolutionize the way the world games. As a Senior Regulatory & Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and managing product testing and certification to meet regulatory standards. You will lead, coordinate, and execute all activities related to agency approvals and compliance, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, and preparing schedules, reports, test procedures, and test plans.
You will build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies, product safety and EMI/EMC bodies, as well as vendors and suppliers. You will drive the creation, development, and ongoing maintenance of in-house test procedures, test plans, and compliance guidelines aligned with current and evolving regulatory standards.
You will review new product designs early in the development process to ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and lead or coordinate root cause analysis for any regulatory non-compliance issues.
Pre-requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Experience with environmental compliance requirements for electrical and electronic equipment (e.g. EU WEEE, RoHS, REACH) is preferred
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in electronics design and development engineering, with exposure to testing, prediction, and assessment, including consumer product safety, EMI/EMC, and RF testing
- Strong working knowledge of product certification and global market access requirements
- Experience analysing test data and presenting findings to cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience obtaining certifications and regulatory approvals for consumer electronic products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
