The Maneuver Dominance team at Anduril is seeking a Senior Flight Test Engineer to plan, execute, and report on developmental and operational flight Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities. As a member of our team, you will conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of Group 3 UAS to ensure performance and reliability. You will deploy to remote test sites within the US, with opportunity to support trials in overseas locations.
Participate in weekly stand-ups and provide progress reports to program and T&E leadership. Develop and execute focused test plans for internal and customer trials. Develop and implement baseline safety plans to mitigate risks during testing. Communicate effectively within the team and across the organization.
We are looking for a highly experienced engineer with a strong grasp of engineering principles and technical concepts. You should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, and 8+ years of experience in UAS integration, testing, and project management. You must be able to organize, coordinate work effectively, and document thoroughly. Familiarity with rotary-wing and fixed-wing aerodynamics and flight control systems is required.
This is a full-time position with a highly competitive salary range of $146,000-$183,000 USD. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
