Description
We are seeking an experienced MP&L Launch Lead to join our Manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the MP&L launch team, prioritizing daily activities to ensure successful milestone execution. You will also serve as the primary MP&L representative at gateway reviews, coordinating between plant leadership, production teams, and suppliers. Additionally, you will develop and execute comprehensive balance-out and system-fill plans in collaboration with the Core MP&L team. Your responsibilities will also include managing the new model parts crib, including BOM planning, 9000-series coordination, shipping/receiving, and pre-kitting for launch events. You will also approve supplier rate and flow, manage communication systems, and hold suppliers accountable to promise dates. Furthermore, you will lead shortage meetings and analyze reports to identify, communicate, and resolve critical supply issues before builds. Finally, you will provide regular status updates and performance metrics to executive management, highlighting risks and proposed resolutions.
You will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, supply chain engineering or related field, and 2+ years of experience with an within an automotive manufacturing environment. You will also have knowledge and deep understanding of Supply Chain Operations, strong knowledge of systems like CMMS, Super G, GCP, MCPV, etc, and a proven track record in supply chain operations (Inbound flows / Packaging / Outbound flows / Diversity / Demand & Supply planning / In-plant Logistic operations / Warehouse management).
