At Scale AI, our mission is to accelerate the development of AI applications.\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AgentOps team. The AgentOps team is responsible for building the best Agent Development Platform in the AI Industry. Agent Development is in its nascent stages in a rapidly changing industry, with limited tooling making it hard for agent developers to manage agent lifecycles.\n\nAs a team that has a front-row seat to what Enterprise customers need and want, we want to build an opinionated but flexible platform for all Agent operations ("AgentOps"), including building, deploying, monitoring, evaluating and improving agents to solve customer needs.\n\nWith the AI industry currently moving towards RL workflows that need verifiable rewards, we further want to gear this platform towards knowledge capture that create compounding effects to make Agents more effective and capable.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n Manage the engineering team and drive technical delivery\n Comfortable working cross functionally, whether that be internal or external customers\n Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production\n Build features end-to-end: back-end, system design, debugging and testing\n Deliver experiments at a high velocity and level of quality to engage our customers\n Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team\n Inspire and mentor engineers\n Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new product features and experiences\n\nRequirements:\n\n At least 5 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience managing engineers is preferred\n Proven success in leading, managing, and developing high-performing Engineering teams\n Expertise in identifying product engagement patterns and trends for large scale consumer products\n Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale\n Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment\n Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions\n* Excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.\n\nCompensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training.
