Description

As a Medicine Tutor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of our cutting-edge technologies by providing high-quality input and labels using specialized software. You will collaborate closely with our technical team to support the training of new AI tasks, ensuring the implementation of innovative initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Using proprietary software applications to provide input/labels on defined projects.
  • Supporting and ensuring the delivery of high-quality curated data.
  • Playing a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to the training of new tasks, working closely with the technical staff to ensure the successful development and implementation of cutting-edge initiatives/technologies.
  • Interacting with the technical staff to help improve the design of efficient annotation tools.
  • Helping democratize access to medical information for users worldwide.
  • Solving problems that help drive innovation in healthcare by guiding Grok to enhance medical care quality, optimize clinical decision-making, accelerate pharmaceutical discovery, advance diagnostic imaging, and streamline medical procedures to transform patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in medicine, such as an MD, DO, NP, PharmD, DDS, DMD, or a Master's or PhD in a related field.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing, both in informal and professional English.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
  • Solid reading comprehension skills combined with capacity to exercise autonomous judgment even when presented with limited data/material.

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • Experience with multiple publications or a first-authorship in a reputable journal or outlet.
  • Previous AI Tutoring experience.
  • Teaching experience (as a professor, teacher, or tutor).
  • Technical writing, journalism, or a professional writing setting experience.

Additional requirements include being available to work evenings and weekends, having a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones, and having a computer that meets the specified requirements.
