Description
We are hiring a Systems Verification Lead to support production of a Group 5 autonomous aircraft. The Systems Verification Lead is the technical authority for hardware verification strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle , from design verification testing (DVT) through environmental qualification, production acceptance, and ground & flight test.
This role is accountable for demonstrating that all hardware meets system-level requirements and technical performance metrics (TPMs) before fielding, and for ensuring that verification activities are planned, executed, and documented in accordance with the program Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
The Systems Verification Lead will work across disciplines (structures, avionics, propulsion, thermal, EE), directly interfacing with suppliers, test labs, integration teams, configuration management, manufacturing, and the customer, and will be responsible for driving verification maturity from development through manufacturing readiness.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, and 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, verification & validation, or test engineering in aerospace or defense.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related discipline, and 10+ years in hardware V&V with increasing scope and responsibility.
