Quality Manager

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead the team at our Composite Manufacturing site in Morrisville, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards from the design phase to the production phase of the product life cycle. The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, product development, and continuous improvement for composite structures manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the design team to ensure that quality is built into the product from the outset.
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the product design and manufacturing processes across all products.
• Collaborating with internal & external functions to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products.
• Developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Conducting quality audits and inspections to identify and address any issues that arise during the product development process.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Developing and maintaining quality metrics to track product quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensuring that all quality-related documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Ensuring the execution of product and process requirements. Defining and improving such requirements.
• Working cross-functionally to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Setting up and leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities. Reviewing the effectiveness of actions and sharing lessons learned across the product team.
• Leading product health data analysis and improvement activities. Being able to communicate the top-line quality of the project.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Defining and improving required documentation and activities.
• Supporting investigations, initiatives, and projects as needed, at the team or organization level.
• Developing and leading a team of professionals to execute on all the above objectives.
