Description
Your job is to develop a condition monitoring system for high-performance electric drives. The system should be able to detect anomalies and predict the remaining lifespan of the components. You will be working on a project that aims to improve the reliability and efficiency of our electric drives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a literature review on typical degradation and failure scenarios (e.g. bond-wire lift-off, delamination, DC-link aging)
- Research algorithms for anomaly detection and remaining lifespan prediction
- Derive suitable state variables and measurement concepts
- Develop a modular test stand and hardware concept
- Complete the project with a test stand setup or concept paper including a roadmap
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics with a focus on power electronics, test stand design
- Knowledge of power semiconductors (SiC, MOSFET, IGBT), DC-link capacitors, and basic knowledge of high-voltage test stands
- Knowledge of MATLAB, test stand software, and CAD software
- Excellent German and/or English language skills (min. B2)
- Structured working style, independence, flexibility
What we offer:
- Digital learning and working tools
- Mobile learning and flexible working hours after coordination with the team
