Description
The Brand Specialist works closely with the Brand Manager to gather consumer insights and market research, focusing on what drives Total Market (TOM) awareness, brand salience, and per capita consumption. They oversee day-to-day brand operations in research, advertising, branding, new products, and packaging initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Consumer Insights and Market Research:
Supports the Brand Manager in turning data into actionable insights, ensuring they are addressed through adequate ideas and plans. Monitors consumer perception about the brand and products on social media, particularly among the younger target segment. Maintains or enhances the brand's presence in trial and awareness studies.
- Brand Management:
Supports and contributes to marketing peers' projects, as well as on/off-premise and trade marketing. Develops new cross-functional tools, such as sales/marketing programs or trade marketing. Collaborates with the Brand Manager and international HQ specialists to share learnings, best practices, and align plans. Participates in creative sessions to develop tactics and assess best practice case studies.
- Advertising and Creative:
Assists the Brand Manager in creating branding and through-the-line communication for specific marketing projects. Develops and implements ideal advertising plans, considering international and local learnings and country-specific digital and social media components. Works closely with the Digital Team to amplify advertising impact on owned, earned, and paid media channels.
- Product and Packaging Innovation:
Supports and manages solid product launches with sales, finance, and other marketing functions. Acts as the key contact for Red Bull HQ. Identifies packaging solutions addressing country-specific needs and leads or manages launch proposals.
- Business Planning and Budget:
Supports the marketing team in developing and implementing the annual business plan. Prepares the annual plan and financial budgets/P&L in cooperation with the marketing and sales team. Ensures project and budget tracking and adheres to the agreed budget.
- Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Building:
Builds and maintains strong, transparent, and trusting partnerships with internal stakeholders, management, and personnel. Manages and strengthens relationships with creative and media agencies to ensure high-quality service delivery and contractual compliance. Identifies and establishes strategic partnerships with cross-industry brands to drive mutual growth and brand salience.
