Senior Data Center Ethernet Network Engineer

As a Senior Data Center Ethernet Network Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be a key member of the Infrastructure Specialist Solution Architecture team, leading the conception, development, and execution of cutting-edge data center networks for NVIDIA customers.

Your role involves providing Ethernet expertise to customers during the sales cycle to design, architect, and test Ethernet networking solutions. You will work on multi-functional teams to provide Ethernet network expertise to server infrastructure builds, accelerated computing workloads, and GPU-enabled AI applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing Ethernet expertise to customers during the sales cycle
• Working on multi-functional teams to provide Ethernet network expertise
• Crafting and evaluating DevOps automation scripts for network operations
• Implementing tasks related to network implementation and validation for data centers

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering or CCNP certificate or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in networking fundamentals, configuring Ethernet switches, understanding the TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture
• Direct operational involvement in configuring and troubleshooting VXLAN-EVPN
• Customer-facing background in network requirement analysis, designs next-gen data center network architectures, and functionality validation through simulations
• Automation tooling proficiency (Ansible, Salt, Puppet etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

• Linux certifications
• Internetwork Expert (CCIE, JNCIE, ACE-E) certification in Data Centers
• Experience with Cumulus OS
