Senior IT Systems Engineer

Flexport IT is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support its SaaS-based Collaboration and Endpoint Management platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, integrating, administering, and supporting Google Workspace, Slack, Office365, Confluence, Jira, Okta, Jamf, and Intune. Your expertise will be critical in automating workflows, protecting sensitive systems and data, mitigating security risks, and maintaining compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering and providing escalation support for SaaS platforms
• Implementing and maintaining policies, software deployment, patching, and security compliance for Mac and Windows endpoints using Jamf and Intune
• Managing the lifecycle of core collaboration and endpoint management platforms
• Developing automation scripts and workflows to improve administrative efficiency and user experience
• Monitoring system health, performance, and usage, and proactively resolving or escalating issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper alignment and integration of SaaS tools with company infrastructure and processes
• Performing investigations and discovery across systems for Legal and HR
• Assisting in vendor management and product evaluations
• Driving solutions and project work
• Onboarding new applications for single sign-on
• Developing and maintaining technical operating procedures, policies, and engineering roadmaps
• Working closely with the Security team to ensure platforms are designed and implemented with security best practices
• Providing Tier 3 IT support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or comparable experience)
• 3+ years of experience supporting SaaS Collaboration tools, Mac and Windows endpoint management
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• In-depth knowledge of email delivery flow, IT security, and IAM concepts
• Understanding of RBAC and permissions models across core SaaS applications
• Scripting and automation experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
