Your career opportunity: Group Functions Technology Department brings together all areas of financial crime risk management at HSBC including anti-money laundering: transaction monitoring, screening, risk assessment etc. and is dedicated to implement the most effective global standards to combat financial crime.

Role Overview: Within Compliance Control team, we use technology to ensure that HSBC complies with regulatory guidelines applicable to the prevention and detection of any market manipulation attempts.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders on features and requirements.
• Automate testing and deployment of small and frequent releases.
• Ensure production availability of your service – if you build the service, you own the service.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, strong Java skills
• Very good understanding of Spring framework, including Spring Boot
• SQL and big data volumes transformation experience
• Strong understanding of CD/CI – Jenkins, Git, Ansible or similar tools
• Familiarity with ELK monitoring stack, Airflow – Good to have
• Familiarity with Spark or other Big Data tools – Good to have
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, ability to deliver against tight deadlines
• Strong communication, self-motivation, willingness to take responsibility with minimal supervision
