We're looking for a Power Engineer II to contribute to the design, analysis, and validation of power electronics systems critical to our aircraft. This role is perfect for an engineer with a solid foundation in power systems who is eager to grow, own challenging projects, and see their work move rapidly from concept to flight.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing power electronics systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage systems, DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor controllers
- Developing embedded safety and protection mechanisms
- Designing across power ranges, from <kW low-power systems to >10 kW high-power applications
- Owning the entire hardware development flow, from concept to testing and validation
- Collaborating with mechanical, CAD, embedded, software, production, and aircraft teams throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements include:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, and debugging
- Familiarity with Altium or equivalent
- Experience with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, E-loads, and multimeters
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $91,660 - $137,490 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity.
