Senior Expert Produktstrategie & Modularisierung (all genders) mit Fokus auf Automotive & Industrial Goods

We are looking for a Senior Expert in Produktstrategie & Modularisierung to join our team. As a senior expert, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice to top-management اجر our clients in the areas of product strategy and modularisation in the automotive and industrial goods sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing strategic advice to top-management of our clients in the areas of product strategy and modularisation
• Leading and managing transformation programs to optimise product and portfolio strategies
• Evaluating and developing portfolio strategies using modern product-mining methods
• Identifying commercial and technical optimisation opportunities in product and variant portfolios
• Designing modular hard- and software architectures based on systems-engineering approaches
• Developing business cases considering total cost of complexity and scale effects to support capital allocation and sourcing decisions
• Active participation in the development of internal methods and knowledge assets, including software-defined products, digital twins, and AI-based engineering approaches
• Supporting project acquisition and acting as a liaison between the cost and value engineering and portfolio management teams

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A successful university degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering or economics
• At least five years of experience in industry (OEM, Tier-1) and/or consulting, with a clear focus on product management, industrial engineering, production planning, industrialisation, or procurement
• Proven expertise in modular product design, portfolio analysis, and the transfer of insights into actionable measures
• A deep understanding of process-related cost structures along the entire value chain (activity-based costing)
• Strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and the ability to drive topics independently and represent them confidently in client environments
• Excellent communication and moderation skills, including secure interaction with suppliers and other stakeholders
• A strong network in the industry, particularly to support acquisition activities
• Very good proficiency in German and English, as well as high travel readiness within Germany and abroad
