Description
CoreWeave is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to lead the architecture, scaling, and operations of our network services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the network services infrastructure for our GPU cloud services, including networking cloud services, host networking, smart NICs, and overlay/underlay networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining the network services infrastructure for our GPU cloud services
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network datapath solutions
- Optimizing host network performance, latency, and throughput to meet the demanding requirements of GPU-based workloads
- Implementing and maintaining network security protocols and best practices to protect customer data and infrastructure
- Participating in an on-call rotation, troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues, and providing timely support to the operations team
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in network protocols, routing, and security, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, or C++. Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies is also highly desirable.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and issue resolution. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also essential.
