Description

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to execute strategic and operational projects at Standard Nuclear on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and contributing to project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all project milestones are achieved. They will also coordinate cross-functional resources to support project goals, monitor project progress, and proactively address risks, changes, and obstacles to ensure successful delivery.

Key technical areas where relevant experience will be evaluated include transportation of hazardous materials, fuel facility licensing, and managing government awards and contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and contribute to project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all project milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to support project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, changes, and obstacles to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, dashboards, and reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support decision-making by gathering data and information across functions and presenting cleanly to interested parties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting or managing projects in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments, with preference for experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Transportation of hazardous materials, including radiological and fissile materials in accordance with 49 CFR 173 and 10 CFR 71.
  • Nuclear fuel facility licensing under NRC (10 CFR 70) and DOE (10 CFR 830) regulations.
  • Management of government contracts and funding awards, including response to DOE funding opportunities and execution from award through project delivery.
  • Production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
