Japanese to English Freelance Translators (Games/MMO&RPG)

We are currently in the process of expanding our pool of Japanese into English freelance translators and we are looking for professional, experienced candidates to become members of our growing global team.

As a Japanese to English freelance translator, you will work on top video game titles and have the opportunity to organise your work autonomously with flexible time. You will be part of a global team and have the chance to work on exciting projects in the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Translate Japanese text into English with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Work on a variety of gaming projects, including games, MMOs, and RPGs
• Collaborate with other translators and project managers to ensure high-quality translations
• Meet deadlines and work efficiently to deliver translations on time

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of English (mother tongue level is a must)
• Extensive knowledge of Japanese
• University degree or equivalent professional experience in translation
• Minimum 3 years of localization proven experience
• Gaming localization expertise and/or avid passion for Keywords core business
• Computer skills (experience with translation tools and TM/Terminology management is a plus)
• Professional affiliation is a plus
