Description
We're seeking a visionary Engineering Manager to lead our Core Events team. As a key member of our infrastructure organization, you will design and scale a high-leverage org structure, defining what "Elite Engineering" looks like and setting the bar for craftsmanship and operational rigor.
Your responsibilities will include architecting the org and culture, driving operational excellence, bridging engineering and business, and building the future team. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align deep engineering needs with global business growth forecasts.
To succeed in this role, you should have a proven leadership track record, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical engineering management role. You should also have a deep technical background in distributed systems and experience operating Tier0 infrastructure at massive scale.
Additionally, you should be able to bridge deep engineering needs with global business growth forecasts and product strategy, specifically building abstractions that empower thousands of other developers. You should also have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
