At Databricks, we're looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Field Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will work with clients to provide technical and business value, collaborating with an Account Executive and a Senior Solutions Architect. Your primary focus will be on demonstrating how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Forming successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide technical and business value.
- Gaining excitement from clients about Databricks through hands-on evaluation and Spark programming, integrating with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
- Contributing to building the Databricks technical community through engagement at workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Becoming a Big Data Analytics advisor on aspects of architecture and design.
- Supporting customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Big Data Analytics, with experience working with clients, creating narratives, and answering customer questions. You should also be able to independently deliver a technical proposition, identify customers' pain-points, and explain important areas for business value.
