Description
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to partner with our product and engineering teams in the Domains group. Our group's products offer customers the tools to establish the foundation of their digital presence, namely their domain and corresponding email. In this role, you will lead technical strategy, architecture, and implementation while mentoring engineers, collaborating across teams, and contributing code to complex projects that align technical investments with business priorities.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading technical strategy, architecture, and implementation
- Mentoring engineers and providing guidance to the engineering team
- Collaborating across teams to drive best practices for engineering excellence and technical leadership
- Contributing code to complex projects that require senior technical expertise
We are looking for someone with 8+ years of experience building large-scale software and highly available and reliable distributed systems. You should have experience building and implementing long-term technical strategy and want to expand your technical influence and effect across teams while still being a hands-on individual contributor.
