Description
This role involves joining the Data Operations team, which aims to keep the data department running smoothly. Key responsibilities include delivering specific data governance tasks, implementing the data marketplace capability for data products, and working with business areas or governance capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level experience in data management, data analysis, and management reporting. They should also possess advanced skills in attention to detail and critical thinking and reasoning. Familiarity with governance concepts and moderate knowledge of leading-edge technologies, reporting, and visualization concepts are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specific data governance tasks such as cataloging, profiling, and defining with limited guidance from people leader
- Implementation of the data marketplace capability for data products
- Working with business areas or governance capabilities (example, glossaries, cataloguing, etc)
- Using familiarity with governance concepts to implement moderate-level functions in a business environment
- Using moderate knowledge and understanding of leading-edge technologies, and reporting and visualization concepts
- Details required project tasks by reading a RACI and/or RAPID matrix and roadmap
- Utilizes intermediate understanding of data modeling principles, data governance, strategy, and data management to execute on mid-to-large-sized tasks within specific timelines
- Develops data project plans and executes with guidance
- Writes comprehensive data governance standards and policies at the enterprise level with little guidance from leader
- Effectively communicates and applies data governance value, concepts, and strategies to business stakeholders
