Sr Planner - Indianola, PA

At Bayer, we're seeking a Sr Planner to play a critical role in ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, reliably, and on time. As a Sr Planner, you will be responsible for translating demand into executable production plans by balancing capacity, materials, and resources across a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Identifying projects and initiatives to increase efficiencies and driving resolution of detailed plans for assigned planning area of responsibility, necessary to achieve customer delivery commitments and to maintain inventory targets, where applicable;

• Developing alternative solutions for the analysis of supply shortfalls impacting internal and/or external customer requirements and ensuring root cause identification, corrective action determination and implementation;

• Handling complex planning problems independently, utilizing financial, operational and business judgment and the ability to adapt to ambiguous conditions;

• Responsible for and maintaining SAP planning parameters for assigned area of responsibility;

• Utilizing delegation to expand scope of influence.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, or Information Technology;

• 5+ years of total experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a Product Supply discipline;

• Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance;

• Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization;

• Ability to manage projects of high complexity with no or limited direction;

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities;

• Strong attention to detail;

• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools;

• Proficient in SAP in various modules (MM/PP/WM).

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $84,000.00 to $126,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation, and benefits such as health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
