Senior Material Planning Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Material Planning Specialist to join our team at FUCHS in İzmir, Turkey.

As a Senior Material Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely product shipments by executing production without raw material shortages. You will monitor raw material requirements, identify materials that need to be purchased, and communicate with the procurement team.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring production runs smoothly without raw material shortages
• Monitoring raw material requirements and communicating with procurement
• Tracking procurement process and taking necessary actions
• Identifying root causes of delays and coordinating with relevant departments
• Preparing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Reports
• Managing inventory and identifying dead or slow-moving raw materials
• Informing procurement department of potential actions to avoid delays
• Creating new material codes and setting up material master data in SAP
• Maintaining accuracy of material codes in SAP system
• Preparing regulatory reports
• Providing support to other planning processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in material planning
• Upper-Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• SAP knowledge is an asset
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to take initiative
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and team player
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Effective communication and follow-up skills
• Good time management and prioritization skills
• Residing in İzmir
