Description
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will drive the optimisation of our potato processing production. You will delve deep into processes to uncover improvement opportunities and work with various departments to realise them. Your input contributes to the further professionalisation of our factory and the development of our employees.
Responsibilities
As a CI Engineer, you will play an active role in the further professionalisation of our factory and the development of our employees. You report to the CI Manager and are part of the CI team. This is a full-time role in day shift.
Leading and Monitoring Improvement Projects
You initiate and execute improvement projects within the CI programme of the factory, from initial setup and execution to monitoring results. This includes identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Standardising and Optimising
You apply CI principles and methods to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency. You also contribute to strengthened process control by standardising operational processes and monitoring adherence to them.
Training, Inspiration, and Best Practices
You support and train employees in CI principles and guide them in applying them in practice. You also maintain alignment with CI teams from other factories to share best practices and successes, and actively promote the philosophy of continuous improvement to inspire and motivate employees.
What You Bring
- A minimum HBO work and thinking level and preferably experience in a production environment
- Knowledge of CI methods and applications
- Experience with organising, facilitating, and stimulating continuous improvement within an organisation, creating awareness among management and employees to apply CI
- Excellent coaching, influencing, analytical, and communicative skills
- You are proactive, independent, honest, and a team player
