Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Operations Supervisor to lead our security team at our Ford Energy facility in Glendale, Kentucky. As a Security Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering the security strategy and industry best practices at our facility.
Key responsibilities include supervising security operations, including staffing requirements, access control, CCTV monitoring, investigations, and emergency support. You will also oversee day-to-day security operations, including contract security personnel, and enforce the Service Level Agreement with the provider. Additionally, you will assist with risk assessments of sites to determine if the operational model is adequate for site integrity and respond to security incidents, including medical, behavioral, trespassing, accidents, suspicious activity, thefts, etc.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, minimum 6 years' experience in law enforcement or military, and 4 years' experience leading and developing teams. You will also have highly motivated, hands-on, self-starter with ability to think creatively and operate in a dynamic, ambiguous environment, and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
This is an armed role, and the candidate must possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL/LEOSA) or obtain one within 30 days, AND demonstrate firearms proficiency as a condition of hire.
