Production Unit Director

We are seeking an experienced Production Unit Director to lead our production unit in Saint-Désirat, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met while optimising economic profitability.

As Production Unit Director, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring hygiene, safety, environmental, and working condition rules are applied
• Leading and managing your unit
• Developing communication, discipline, motivation, and enterprise spirit within autonomous production teams
• Managing social relationships and conducting individual interviews with employees
• Evaluating and monitoring employee competencies and expressing training needs to your hierarchical manager
• Recommending individual salary increases, promotions, and reclassifications to management
• Organising and achieving production targets in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines while optimising economic profitability
• Guaranteeing quality procedures and continuous improvement
• Participating in project teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Bac +3 to Bac +5)
• At least 10 years of professional experience in a similar operational role in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of the metallurgical industry
• Scheduling and planning expertise
• In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement and problem-solving methods
• Project management skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
