Team Manager-Production

You will be responsible for managing production teams at Ford Motor Company's Lima, Ohio facility.

Job Overview As a Team Manager-Production, you will oversee all shifts and crews within a department, ensuring that department scorecard objectives are met. You will own processes such as constraint management and standardization across workstations, plan changes, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and serve as a change agent to drive the Ford Production System.

Responsibilities

• Confirm standards are in place and being applied throughout the plant
• Develop, coach, and support teams to achieve SQDCPME objectives
• Address issues raised by teams, providing resources and coaching to resolve abnormalities
• Foster a culture of learning and respect among team members
• Create a proactive, performance-driven culture that recognizes team accomplishments
• Ensure completion of administrative responsibilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Production experience
• Strong ability to interface with plant personnel and management
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to resolve diverse problems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Broad production experience
• Lead Process Coach experience
• 6-sigma designation
• Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making capability
• Microsoft Office knowledge
