Description
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of key AI products. As a member of the Global Data Insight & Analytics team, you'll advise leadership on business conditions, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Your expertise and analytical skills will drive evidence-based, timely decision making.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate the product vision working closely with business partners, aligning it with Ford’s broader digital transformation goals.
- Empathize and deeply understand your target audience and personas to define the right problem to solve with AI.
- Define and drive the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects the evolving needs of the business, technological advancements, and market trends.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, data-driven insights, and business impact.
- Focus on Product Market Fit by maintaining a balance between business viability, user desirability, and technical feasibility.
- Define quantitative and qualitative measures of success that drive value to Ford’s core objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business units to understand their needs and translate them into product features.
- Manage relationships with senior leadership, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Champion an iterative development approach with our business partners, driving delivery of Minimum Viable Products and continuous improvement through careful and deliberate prioritization.
Development & Delivery:
- Lead cross-functional product teams (AI engineering, software engineering, design, data engineering, etc.) in the design, development, and deployment of the AI products.
- Work hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver AI solutions that deliver business outcomes.
- Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into customer and business-facing applications.
User Experience & Adoption:
- Design and implement user onboarding and training programs to increase adoption.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the solutions usability, performance, and feature set.
- Develop documentation, guides, and best practices to support users in effectively leveraging the solution for their needs.
Continuous Learning, Innovation & Contribution:
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in AI and cloud computing to drive innovation.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team, fostering innovation and experimentation to keep the solution at the forefront of industry standards.
- Mentor and train other PMs to help them learn agile/XP methods, product management techniques, and build skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Programming, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in an agile software development environment.
- 5+ years of Product Manager experience with responsibilities to include defining product vision, strategy, product roadmaps, and building and managing backlogs and similar.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field or an MBA, Sales and Services experience, Automotive experience, AI Certifications, Leadership experience, and experience collaborating directly with Agile software methodologies (Scrum, eXtreme Programming, Kanban).
