As a Process Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes are stable, capable, and consistently producing products that meet stringent quality standards. You will bridge the gap between design and production, focusing on defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities: Effectively implement the assigned QE tasks Quick response for the short term action plan of urgent qualify issues and containment of abnormal materials during night shift Manage and resolve the Non-conforming/ FAI/SPC/ quality abnormalities of the production line in time during night shift Responsible for the shutdown & restart confirmation after equipment abnormality Summarize quality issues from night shift production and hand over to the day shift. Oversee the Quality operators in the plant Guide and improve the quality and business ability of hourly QE operators. Additional responsibilities depending on business needs.
Qualifications: High School Diploma Ability to work independently with limited supervision Strong organizational and administrative skills Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills Proficient in using office software and strong data analysis ability. Past experience with supervising hourly personnel. Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviours combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills Familiar with Six Sigma methodology, indicating a strong capability in data analysis and process improvement. Ability to work night shift
Even better, you may have: Bachelor's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of cell manufacturing technology. Knowledge of chemical or mechanical lab testing Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Familiar with ISO9000/IATF16949 quality system Familiar with quality analysis and improvement tools (FMEA, FTA, 8D, SPC) Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to work overtime if required. Lead 20 to 30 Quality operators
